福音摇滚乐队Kutless最新专辑<To Know That You're Alive>中的一首单曲，整张专辑风格较为硬朗，依然走传统的worship路线。这首"I Do Not Belong"属于其中较为抒情的一首。

乐队来自俄勒冈首府波特兰，歌曲的创作源自于他们对旧事的回顾。在电台的采访中，主唱Jon说道如今的世界对他这个基督徒而言，已然没有"家"的概念。每当看到新闻提到经济危机，中东问题，都会非常担忧。所以在歌中，字里行间都流露着他们一种对现世消极的情感，以及对天堂世界的企望。

对歌者而言，尤其是这些真性情的基督徒，他们无力改变世界，能做的只有哭诉。"皆因此世/不归不留/魂无所归/心无所憩"，这种撕心裂肺的悲恸，不知你听到这首歌的时候，内心中所浮动的又是怎样的情感呢。
