...Somehow, today when I heard Jon's "Smack Into You", my heart was melted again. This "lost" track was initially written for Jon McLaughlin, and he did sing it during his tour. However, it got axed at the final song-choosing step. To avoid a waste, this beatiful song was then presented by Beyonce with a new title "Smash into You".

The difference to me is huge, because I'm not actually a fan of Beyonce routine, and I hate her hit track "Single Ladies" so much. Jon's "original" version is not only touching but also has a melodious tone from the combination of acoustic guitar and piano. It's really a shame that the song was abandoned by Jon at last. Just take a listen to it, and I believe you will love it.

The first time I heard about Heap was 4 years ago, when a friend of mine, who is homosexual, introduced me her “Hide and Seek” and told me that he was so enraptured by her delicately emotive voice. I didn’t care too much until I heard this track featured on So You Think You Can Dance, where a lot of competitors chose this song as their dance music. When I saw these dancers performing contemporary on the stage with Heap’s smooth vocal melodies, an utterly gorgeous picture suddenly captured my eyes and I realized then what an amazing track it is.

来自苏格兰爱丁堡的创作艺人，被曾与U2和Patrick Wolf合作过的制作人Jonathan Shakhovskoy相中，并收入Lash Records旗下。这首We Got Time是不久前刚发行的一首single，很indie，有点britpop，一见钟情。首张专辑仍在制作中，预计秋冬可发行。值得关注一下。

A Fine Frenzy，取自莎士比亚的仲夏夜之梦。她2年前的那张debut专辑One Cell In The Sea是个人最喜欢的indie专辑之一。平时女声听的较少，但对她却情有独钟，可以算是个人少数最爱的indie女艺人。专辑中首首作品都很值得细细品 味，例如"Come On, Come Out"， "Hope for the Hopeless"，"The Minnow & The Trout"，"You Picked Me"，"Liar Liar"，她的声音让人魂牵梦萦...而她的一头秀丽的红发，同样令人销魂。今年9月8日，她将发行她的第二张专辑"Bomb in a Birdcage"，其中的两首歌已作为单曲提前发行...

还是Greg Laswell，这是他将于10月发行的翻唱EP中第二首披露的作品，来自英国的post-punk乐队Echo & the Bunnymen 84年的成名作Killing Moon。

还记得2年前Greg翻唱过Cyndi Lauper于83年发行的一曲带有disco风格的Girls Just Want to Have Fun，他的演绎洗去了歌中女孩的俏皮，而将女孩内心深处的一种纠结沉淀并过滤出来，在众翻唱版本中，他的演绎是最能令人回味的，就如同一杯浓郁的美酒， 越品越香醇...

今天，The Swell Season，也就是现在Glen和Marketa的二人乐队，披露了他们将于10月27日发行的第二张专辑"Strict Joy"中的一首单曲"In These Arms"。Glen和Mar两人因为电影Once在现实生活中也真实经历了相识相恋再到分手的过程，如果说他们的那曲"Falling Slowly"体现的是种珠联璧合、令人震撼的默契，则这首"In These Arms"则体现了两人分手后的"恩爱"如初。

"Maybe I was born to hold you in these arms..."，这种温婉的情调，恬柔的情意，静谧之中充盈着感动，你有没有觉得，其实Once的故事并没有结束，The Swell Season正续写着现实版的情难独奏...

时隔三年后，FFF带着一首新单曲"Chances"回归了。收录这首单曲的新专辑"Slice"也将定于10月3日发行。歌词中从爱的角度对Chances的定义，都是值得细细品味的爱情箴言。相当动听的一首小品，hope you agree with me.
